The Solution:
Sportscapes planners
proposed shifting the baseball diamond 47 down the third
base line to take advantage of wasted space behind the outfield
fence. This project allowed the building of a carefully contoured
infield, and included the replacement of light standards and
the first-base dugout. The field event facilities were moved
to a new area at the curve of the running track. In the space
created by moving the diamond and the field events, Sportscape
was able to build a new full-width football and soccer practice
field 100 yards long. |

The completed project at Bishop
Lynch High School
includes a reconstructed baseball diamond,
a spacious football/soccer practice field, and new
field events facilities, all making more efficient use
of the school's available space. |
The
Result:
This project has allowed for more efficient
use of the schools grounds, and has upgraded facilities
for three different sports. A new automatic irrigation system
now waters the practice field, as well as the baseball diamond.
The field events have now been moved to positions adjacent to
the track, where spectators can watch them from the main grandstands. |
